I can often provide the polarizer accessory for the AB2. At the time of writing I have two. The Glan-Thompson prisms inside the polarizer can give excellent results and valuable insight into samples but please do expect significant signal loss. I believe the throughput for the lamp will be about 20 percent compared to the standard lens holders. The polarizer can be removed and the standard lens holders returned for a better signal to noise if needed. The process only takes a couple of minutes and requires no tools or few tools if you find the thumb screws hard to remove by hand.
